Video how to –  make the most stunning DIY door swag

Hi! I’m Joette from the Bowdabra Design Team! Today, I’m here to show you how to create a stunning DIY door swag in just minutes. Using the Bowdabra, this method is customizable to any color of your choice, allowing you to match it perfectly to your decor. It’s a quick and easy project that will make your front door shine! Let’s dive in!

Materials:

Large mixed bush of assorted foliage

Hanging foliage bush

3 Hydrangea stems

Assorted linear and hanging flowers

Assorted compact focal flowers of choice

Large Bowdabra

Zip tie or Bowdabra Bow Wire

Instructions:

First, place a long zip tie or Bowdabra bow wire in the Bowdabra.

Next, place a foliage bush into the Bowdabra making sure the top is rounded and the bottom hangs down like a teardrop.

Next, add a foliage cascade split up into three sections. Then, add the linear florals to the Bowdabra. Bend the bottom edge so that it stays in the arrangement and cascades downward.

Now begin adding florals to the top of the swag.  Trim the florals as needed before putting them in the Bowdabra. Continue adding florals building the rounded shape for the top of the swag.

Next, add the focal flowers. Scrunch down with the Bowdabra wand as needed. Add some hydrangea flowers to fill in.

Now reach under the arrangement, grab the zip tie or bow wire and cinch it up nice and tight. Then, remove it from the Bowdabra. Fluff and shape the florals and greenery as needed to shape the stunning DIY door swag.
