Crafts for men are not always easy to find but nothing beats a handmade gift created with love. In this easy video DIY, you will learn how to make this personalized Father’s Day tassel key ring in minutes with the Mini Bowdabra. Kids will enjoy creating their own Father’s Day gift and Dad will be sure to love it.

Materials:

Suede leather lacing (you may substitute faux suede lacing)

Mini Bowdabra

Bowdabra bow wire

Letter beads

Jewelry Bell cap

Key ring

Instructions:

First, cut five 10” pieces of the suede lacing. Next, thread on the letter beads, “Dad” and tie a knot at the end to hold it secure. (You may use other letters to personalize it further like dad’s name, etc.)

Now, cut a length of Bowdabra bow wire.  Fold it in half and place it in the Mini Bowdabra.  You will have a loop at one end and two loose wires at the other end.

Next, find the middle of the lacing and add each piece of lacing and the lacing with the letter beads scrunching down in the Mini Bowdabra. Now, thread the loose wires through the loop and pull tight while your tassel is still in the Mini Bowdabra.  Remove from the Bowdabra.

Gather the lacing together at the top and thread each bow wire through the opening in the jewelry bell cap.  Pull tight and push the bell cap over the head of the tassel squeezing to secure it.

Finally, use the excess bow wire to tie the key ring onto the tassel. Pull the long ends of the wire and tuck it under the bell cap and snip the ends.
