2 – 16″ strips of a printed ribbon
3 yards of 2.5″ wide sheer ribbon

1 – Dollar Tree rose or other focal floral bush
Zip ties and hot glue, 2 strips of 2.5″ wide ribbon for banners, Letters for banner, and 1 yard of 21″ wide Deco Mesh in a different shade.
First, inflate the balloon with air in place of helium and attach it to the stick and cup.
Next, if desired create message banners on ribbon with Dollar Tree letter stickers.
Using the Mini Bowdabra although you can also do this with the regular size Bowdabra cut a piece of Bowdabra bow wire. Then, fold it in half and insert it into the Bowdabra. You will have a loop on one side and two loose wires on the other side. This will serve as your slipknot. Tuck the ends under to stay out of the way while you are making your bow.
Using two ribbons insert into the Bowdabra from the top and scrunch down like an accordion. Switch to the second ribbon and repeat this process. Thread the loose wires through the loop and pull tight. Remove from the Bowdabra, turn to the back, and tie a knot. Repeat this process with one of the ribbons. Now, tie the bows to the front and back of the balloon stick.
Add some Bowdabra wire as you did before and tuck the ends underneath, scrunch down from the top 3 yards of 21″ wide deco mesh. Make sure you fold the ends under at the start and finish to hide any fraying. Optionally add another color of deco mesh. Scrunch everything down with the Bowdabra wand.
Insert a length of wired 2 1/2″ wide ribbon and twist and fold to create a loopy bow with 2 loops on each and a tail.
Now, add two 16″ strips of 1 1/2″ wide wired ribbon. Then, repeat for another loopy bow as you did in the previous step ending with one tail. (with the previous tail you now have two tails)
Next, add florals and greenery. Add another scrunchy bow and loopy bow. Scrunch everything down with the wand and thread the loose wires through the loop, pull tight, turn to the back, and tie a tight knot and triple knot. Now fluff and arrange the centerpiece.
To finish, secure the balloon to the budget-friendly centerpiece with either a zip tie, bow wire, or hot glue.
