First, using some acrylic paint wipe around the inside of one part of the embroidery hoop and the outside of the other one.
Next, take some gingham fabric and place it on the inside hoop, add the top hoop and tighten with the screws. Cut around any excess fabric. Add the cord hanger.
Now using 14 large-sized popsicle sticks from Dollar Tree. Cut them into two different-sized pieces and sort them accordingly.
Then, tape down all the various popsicle stick pieces and stain them with brown acrylic paint. Let it dry. Now, go over the pre-stained stick pieces with some bright yellow paint.
Using tacky glue along with some hot glue attach all the larger pieces of popsicle sticks all around the prepared hoop. Now, add the smaller pieces in between the large pieces. Distress the petals for a rustic look all around with some distressing oxide.
To finish, glue on a laser cut “hello” and add some small raffia and fabric bows to the bottom of the Sunflower door hanger.
