How To:

Let’s start with a floral wreath. This one is covered with pink floral blossoms – perfect for Spring, Easter, Mother’s Day, or any special occasion!

First cut an 18″ piece of Bowdabra wire, fold it together, and place it in the Bowdabra, tucking the ends under. Then cut a 22″ piece of complimentary solid color wired 2.5″ wide ribbon, creasing the center and placing it down into the Bowdabra.

Now, cut a complimentary printed 2.5″wired ribbon an inch shorter than the solid color, creasing the center and placing it down into the Bowdabra.

Dovetail the ends of the solid ribbon by folding the ribbon together and cutting at an angle from the fold down to the corner tip and .
.

dovetail the ends of the printed ribbon just like the solid color ribbon was dovetailed.

Next, leave the ribbon on the roll and crease about an inch from the end of the solid ribbon, and insert it down into the Bowdabra. Then fold over a 5.5″ loop and press down into the Bowdabra.
Make the Bowdabra bow:

On the opposite side, fold the ribbon to make a matching loop down into the  Bowdabra.

Then make two additional 5″ loops on either side.

Leave the printed ribbon on the roll, creasing the end down into the Bowdabra. Then fold over a 4.5″ loop down into the Bowdabra.

Fold the ribbon to make a matching loop on the opposite side, down into the  Bowdabra.

Then make two smaller loops about 3.5 inches long on either side. To finish the bow, make a button loop to cover the bow wire, then scrunch all the loops down using the Bowdabra wand and cut off excess ribbon.

Remove the Bowdabra wand and thread the two loose ends of the bow wire through the loop, pulling tightly and gently pulling it out.

Take the bow wire around to the back, tying the wire in two or three tight knots.

Straighten and fluff the bow loops and center button.
Tie the bow onto the wreath using the bow wire for a fabulous look!
It was so easy to customize a floral wreath by adding a gorgeous Bowdabra bow!
