How to make the Perfect Easter Table Centerpiece with Bowdabra

This project requires no container, floral foam, or hot glue, making it perfect for crafters of all levels. Join me as we craft a charming centerpiece that will enhance your Easter celebrations effortlessly. Let’s get started!

Materials:

Ficus Foliage Stems, two
Fern Foliage Bush, two
2 Hanging/Linear Floral (Filler Flower) Stem
3 Bloom Floral Stem-Cut apart
2 Large Blooming Branch Stems
Tulip Bush
Single Hydrangea stem or pick
2 Egg Ornaments
3 Different colors/patterns of 2.5” wide ribbons and a 1.5” wide ribbon

Instructions:

First, cut a piece of Bowdabra bow wire.  Then, fold it in half and insert it into the Bowdabra.  You will have a loop on one side and two loose wires on the other side.  This will serve as your slipknot. Tuck the ends under to stay out of the way while you are making your bow.

Next, add some foliage to each side of the Bowdabra. Then, add some ferns spreading them out on each side.

Now, split a tulip pick and lay some evenly on each side. Repeat this step by adding some forsythia branches on each side. Add some filler flowers on each side. Add some Easter egg picks.

Make the Bow:

First, cut a length of Bowdabra bow wire, fold it in half, and lay it in the Bowdabra.  Now, add some tails that have already been dovetailed. To dovetail, fold the ribbon in half and cut at an angle away from the fold.

Now, twist and fold to make loops for the bow. Make the loops about 5-6 inches.  Continue folding and twisting to make loops.

Now repeat folding and twisting with the Easter egg ribbon to make loops just a little smaller than the previous loops.

Add some more tails with various color ribbons. Criss-crossing as you add them. Twist and fold one more bow with the green ribbon. Add a large hydrangea flower and scrunch everything down.

To finish, insert the loose wires through the loop and pull tight while the bow is still in the Bowdabra. Then, remove the bow from the Bowdabra, separate the ends, turn to the back, and tie a knot.  Tie a double knot for extra security. Fluff out the bows and arrange all the florals and foliage. You have a perfect Easter table centerpiece!
