Supplies:
12”x12” blank from DT
Shiplap scrapbook paper from HL
8” Macramé hoop or embroidery hoop
Lemon pick from HL
Artificial lemons from any craft store
Filler greenery
Fabric or ribbon of choice for bow
mod podge
hello sign from the craft store
White and yellow paint
Jute
Yellow button
Bowdabra
Instructions:
First, spread some ModPodge onto a square board from the Dollar Store. Next using a piece of scrapbook paper lay it on the prepared board. Next paint the macrame hoop a cream color and let it dry.
Now, paint the Hellow sign with the same paint as the hoop and let dry for a primer. Then, paint it yellow. Use the black ink pad all around the letters and the hoop to give it a distressed look.
Next, glue the macrame hoop to the board with some hot glue. Attach the hello sign to the center of the hoop.
Finally, glue the lemon pick all around the hoop. Add some extra greenery as well. Add some wire or jute for the hanger.
Make the bow:
Next, cut a piece of Bowdabra bow wire, fold it in half, and place it in the Bowdabra. Lay in some yellow ribbon and begin making loops back and forth. Make as many loops as you desire. Then, repeat this process with a second bow color making the loops a little smaller.
Now scrunch everything down with the Bowdabra wand. Then, insert the loose wires through the loop and pull tight while the bow is still in the Bowdabra. Then, remove the bow from the Bowdabra, separate the ends, turn to the back, and tie a knot.
Attach a yellow button to the center of the bow and then, glue the bow to the cheerful lemon decor plaque and enjoy it throughout the spring and summer seasons.
