A bunch of white and green tulip stems
Hot glue
14” Grapevine wreath
First, fold a length of bow wire in half and tuck it underneath the Bowdabra so that it stays out of the way while you are making your bow. The classic fold-and-twist bow is made with tails. Cut off a long piece of gingham ribbon and place it in the Bowdabra.
Next, Make a multi-loop fold and twist style bow. Lay in a long length of the gingham ribbon, twist, bring a loop across, and scrunch down. Continue making loops back and forth twisting and scrunching down into the Bowdabra. Make sure the wrong sides of the ribbon are on the inside of the bow.
Thread the loose wires through the loop and pull tight while the bow is still in the Bowdabera. Turn to the back and secure the bow with several wire knots. Finish, by fluffing the loops and cutting the dovetail pattern on the tail ends. To dovetail, fold the ribbon in half and cut at an angle away from the fold.
Materials required:
100-yard Bowdabra bow wire
Large Bowdabra
Green gingham ribbon roll
Fold the bow wire in half and tuck it underneath the Bowdabra as you did with the fold-and-twist bow.
Fold lengths of gingham ribbon in half with a loop on one side and two tails on the other like an awareness ribbon. Twist to make sure the wrong side is on the inside of the bow. Then, place them in the Bowdabra alternating the sides of loops and tails. Make as many loops as you desire.
Thread the loose wires through the loops and pull tight. Remove from the Bowdabra, turn to the back, and tie a knot and double knot. Fluff and arrange your bow and cut a dovetail on all the tail ends.
Hot glue the tulips all around the wreath. Attach the bow of your choice to the wreath and you have the most beautiful classic tulip spring wreath!
