Hi there! I’m Lisa from The Rustic Vine, for the Bowdabra Design Team. Today, I’m excited to share a quick and charming project that brings the bee-uty of spring into your home. Learn how to easily create some bee-themed spring decor! Let’s get started!
First, cut off all the tags and hangers from the bee potholder. Next, using small scissors, clip the threads at the bottom to form a small opening and then stuff it with some fiber fill.
First, place a piece of ribbon in the Bowdabra. Next, begin adding ribbons, fabric strips, pompoms on strings, pearls, etc. in the Bowdabra.
Now, using the ribbon you laid in first, tie it up tight and make a knot. Use some hot glue thread on a bead to the top of the ribbon tie.
Hot glue or sew the top of the tassel to the bottom of the bee potholder.
Make the hanger with some wire. Poke a hole through the top and push one end of the wire through the top of the bee. Twist the wire to hold it secure. Then twist the other end of the wire to make it wavy, poke this end through the opposite side, and twist the end to secure it.
Finally, add a button and a tag with some hot glue to the bee’s wing. Isn’t this the most adorable bee-themed spring decor?
