Bowdabra
Bowdabra Bow Wire
18″ Oval or Round Wreath
Garden Rose silk floral bush
2 – Filler Floral bushes
Hanging floral bush or stem
2 yds – 1.5″ wide wired ribbon – Gingham lyd – 7/8″ wide non-wired ribbon – Matching
First, cut a piece of Bowdabra bow wire. Then, fold it in half and insert it into the Bowdabra. You will have a loop on one side and two loose wires on the other side. This will serve as your slipknot. Tuck the ends under to stay out of the way while you are making your bow.
Next, take the ficus branch divide it so it opens out, and place it in the Bowdabra. Repeat with a second branch of ficus facing the opposite direction.
Then, take the floral bush and divide it so that the short side is at the top and the bottom will cascade downward. Place it down into the Bowdabra.
Now, take some filler florals and place them in the Bowdabra feeding it all around the previous florals. Repeat this process with another two filler flowers.
First, cut two ribbon tails which are pre-dovetailed find the center, pinch together, and lay them in the Bowdabra.
To make a funky style bow, take a piece of ribbon dovetail the ends, then twist so the wrong side is on the inside bring the loop across, and scrunch into the Bowdabra. Repeat this process but make sure the ribbon loop is on the opposite side of the bow.
Now, change to a different ribbon and repeat the same way as before starting with a tail and following with funky bow loops and tails. Repeat with the third color and width ribbon. Place a large hydrangea flower in the center.
To finish, use some non-wired ribbon to make a show bow. Fold in half to find the center, and place in the Bowdabra. Bring one end across and follow with the opposite end.
Now scrunch everything down with the Bowdabra wand. Then, insert the loose wires through the loop and pull tight while the bow is still in the Bowdabra. Then, remove the bow from the Bowdabra, separate the ends, turn to the back, and tie a knot. Tie a double knot for extra security. The Bowdabra wire makes it so easy! Fluff and arrange the bow and florals.
Tie the bow and florals to the wreath and you have the most beautiful wreath that was so easy to make and you have a stunning no-glue wreath! Want more tutorials? Subscribe to our YouTube channel for hundreds of DIY videos.
