Never worry about wilted flowers with the Valentine Paper Hearts Bouquet. Follow the step-by-step tutorial to make your heart bouquet.
Gather these supplies:
- Plain and patterned cardstock or paper
- Liquid glue
- Wooden skewers or coffee stirs
- Hearts Template
Instructions for making paper hearts bouquet:
- Print the Hearts Template, and cut out the size heart of your choice as a template. Trace the template onto the cardstock or patterned paper. You’ll need two hearts for each paper heart “flower.”
- Draw a thin line of glue along the edges and center of one heart.
- Add a skewer to the center glue line.
- Add glue to the top of the skewer.
- Press the matching heart on top, carefully aligning the edges of the hearts. Set aside to dry.
- As an embellishment option you can use a white ink marker to draw stitching lines near the outer edge of a heart.
- When the hearts are dry, arrange them in a vase. Add dried or artificial foliage to complete the Valentine Paper Hearts Bouquet. Hint: I used 12″ skewers, and cut them to length as I was arranging the bouquet.
