Alright, let’s get started with the materials you’ll need for this delightful Valentine’s Day wreath.
Assortment of Dollar Tree Valentine’s Day-themed ribbons – go crazy with different colors, patterns, and textures! 5 printsx2=10 spools of 2.5-inch ribbon
8 Scissors – for cutting the ribbons.
Pipe Cleaners
Optional: Decorative embellishments – think hearts, flowers, or anything that screams Valentine’s Day!
Zip Tie for hanger
First, to make the cutting of the ribbon quicker. Fan fold each color ribbon and then cut several 8-inch pieces at once. Next, dovetail the fan-folded ribbon on each side. Doing it this way makes it quick and easy.
Repeat this process with the other 9 rolls of ribbon. Cut the chenille stems in half.
Using the Bowdabra begin placing the pieces of ribbon pinching in the center and laying it in the Bowdabra. Crisscross the colors as you go. Next, take the bundles and use the chenille stem to twist them together. Fluff out the ribbon bundle.
Then, repeat this process with all the rest of the precut, dovetailed ribbons. Next, attach the ribbon bundles to the 14″ wire wreath frame on the number 2 and the number 3 bars from each wreath section. Twist the chenille stem to secure.
Continue attaching the ribbon bundles till you have added all 24 bundles. You will end up with the most beautiful Valentine’s Day ribbon wreath.
