14” Flocked Christmas Wreath base
7/8” wide velvet ribbon
Berry stems or picks
Large Bowdabra
Bowdabra Bow Wire
First, cut a piece of Bowdabra bow wire. Then, fold it in half and insert it into the Bowdabra. You will have a loop on one side and two loose wires on the other side. This will serve as your slipknot. Tuck the ends under to stay out of the way while you are making your bow.
Cut a length of burgundy velvet ribbon for the tails.
Next, place the velvet ribbon satin side up and begin making loops and twisting so that the velvet side is always facing up. Continue making as many loops as desired.
Now, insert the loose wires through the loop and pull tight while the bow is still in the Bowdabra. Then, remove the bow from the Bowdabra, separate the ends, turn to the back, and tie a knot. Tie a double knot for extra security. The Bowdabra wire makes it so easy!
Prepare your flocked wreath to make room for the bow and berries. Now, tie the velvet bow to the wreath. Pull apart the loops of the bow and curl the tails.
Begin adding berry pieces from a berry pick. Attach with hot glue or alternately use the branches of the wreath to twist the berry pieces on the wreath. Continue adding berries as desired all around the wreath. You have the most beautiful berry wreath made in just minutes!
