*8 x 10 Wood surface – mine is from HL
* Scrapbook paper or printable cut to fit
*felt gingerbread set from Dollar Tree
*red, brown, and white paint
*beaded garland from HL with peppermint candies
*Ribbon or fabric for bow
*Rusty bell or button for bow
*Tag with a cute saying
*Jute
*Hot glue with an adult to supervise or tacky glue works great
First, take a square board from Dollar Tree and spread a coating of ModPodge all around. Next, apply some printed scrapbook paper on top of the Modpodge. Add some more ModPodge on top to seal. Let dry.
Next glue each end of a small garland to each corner of the board. (If you are using a hot glue gun be sure a parent is supervising)
Remove the gingerbread girl and boy and attach some tulle for a tutu with some glue on the girl. Add a bow to the top of her head. Add the felt eyes and mouth that come with the set for both. Now, glue on some mini jingle bells for the buttons on both. Add the lace icing on their hands and feet.
Attach some mini wooden spoons to each of the gingerbread people. Add a hanger to your board. Take the cute saying, add a bow to the top, and glue it in between the gingerbread girl and boy.
Brush on some more ModPodge all around and sprinkle some cinnamon on top.
This cute little Gingerbread wall hanger would make the perfect gift for teachers and Grandparents. This kid’s craft is a perfect family craft night idea.
