*8 x 10 Wood surface – mine is from HL
* Scrapbook paper or printable cut to fit from the surface of wood
*red, brown, and white paint
*Ribbon or fabric for bow
*Rusty bell or button for bow
*Tag with a cute saying
*Jute
*Hot glue
First measure the printed paper all around your board and cut it out. Next paint the edges of the board with crimson, and terra cotta acrylic paint. Brush the center with a coat of ModPodge. Place the printed gingerbread man scrapbook paper where you put the ModPodge and smooth it out.
Now, brush on some white wash paint to give the project a rustic look.
First, fold some jute cord in half and lay it in the Bowdabra. Using ripped fabric, lay it in the Bowdabra and fold loops back and forth. Now, thread the loose jute cords through the loop and pull tight. Remove it from the Bowdabra, turn to the back, and tie a knot and double knot.
Repeat this step with a second color of ripped fabric.
Next, glue the first bow to the top corner and add the second bow on top. Fluff out the bows and then glue a rusty bell in the center.
Print out a small tag with a saying and attach it with some jute to the bows. Add some embellishments like a small wooden spoon and some cinnamon sticks. Finally, add a jute hanger.
You have a special gingerbread man wall hanging that you can complete in just minutes!
