Sandy Sandler, the creator of the Bowdabra shows you how to make the absolute best Thanksgiving hostess gift in just minutes! It’s not just for Thanksgiving, however, It’s a perfect gift for any party or event throughout this entire holiday season! And Bowdabra makes it super easy too! So let’s get started:
Materials:
Gold ribbon
Cutting board
Salad server set
Package of napkins
Fall pick
Instructions:
First, lay two strips of ribbon behind a cutting board. Then, lay some napkins, and a Salad server set on top. Fold the ribbon across and tie a knot making sure the tails are facing the right side. Repeat with the second ribbon to secure everything together.
You will have four tails. Dovetail the tail ends.
Make the bow:
First, cut a piece of Bowdabra bow wire. Then, fold it in half and insert it into the Bowdabra. You will have a loop on one side and two loose wires on the other side. This will serve as your slipknot. Tuck the ends under to stay out of the way while you are making your bow.
Next lay in a piece of gold ribbon for the tails. Then place some more ribbon in the Bowdabra, bring it across, twist, and fold to make a loop. Continue making loops in this manner to create your bow.
Now, place the fall pick in the Bowdabra. Then, scrunch everything down with the Bowdabra wand. Then, insert the loose wires through the loop and pull tight while the bow is still in the Bowdabra. Remove the bow from the Bowdabra, separate the ends, turn to the back, and tie a knot. Tie a double knot for extra security. The Bowdabra wire makes it so easy!
Fluff and arrange the bow. Next, take the excess bow wire and thread it through the ribbon you used to tie up the gift items and tie it in a bow. This way the giftee can remove the bow to access the gift and reuse the bow! Fluff and arrange the bow and florals.
What a super simple fall Thanksgiving hostess gift!
