Hey everyone! I’m Lexi from the Bowdabra Design Team. Today, I’m super excited to show you a fun project that’ll make your Halloween decor adorable! We’re going to create an adorable Halloween spider bow that adds a playful touch to your spooky vibes. It’s an awesome way to spruce up your space without breaking the bank. So, grab your supplies, and let’s get crafty with this fun Halloween idea that’ll impress all your friends!
Check out this spider headband bow too!
– 4 pieces of mesh tubing (12”-14” long)
– 4 pieces of wired ribbon (6”-8” long, 1.5” wide)
– 1 piece of non-wired burlap ribbon (6”-8” long, 4” wide)
– Bowdabra Bow Wire
– Large Bowdabra
First, take a piece of Bowabra bow wire, fold it in half, and lay it in the Bowdabra. This will be your slipknot.
Next, lay in four pieces of 12 – 14″ long pieces of black mesh tubing. (spider legs) Try and make them as even as possible.
Now, take four pieces 6 inches long and 1 1/2″ wide burlap ribbon and curl the ends under on both sides. Then pinch in the center and place into the Bowdabra curl side facing down. Repeat this process for all four pieces of ribbon.
Next, add a piece of black non-wired burlap ribbon about 4 Inches wide and feed it into the Bowdabra from the top, scrunchy bow style.
To finish, thread the loose wire ends through the loop and pull tight while the bow is still in the Bowdabra. Remove from the Bowdabra, separate the wires turn to the back, and tie a knot and a double knot. Fluff and shape the bow.
Add the Halloween spider bow to wherever you would like to add to your decor! it’s so easy and so much fun!
