Hey there! I’m Lexi from the Bowdabra Design Team. Today, I’m thrilled to share a fun project that will add some spooktacular flair to your Halloween accessories! We’ll be upgrading store-bought Halloween earrings using the Mini Bowdabra. This is a fantastic way to elevate your Halloween look while keeping it budget-friendly. So, let’s gather our supplies and get ready to craft some bewitching earrings that are sure to turn heads at any spooky celebration!
Materials:
5”-6” piece of 1.5” wide non-wired ribbon
Store-bought earrings to upgrade
Hot Glue
Instructions:
First, take a piece of Bowdabra bow wire, fold it in half, and place it in the Mini Bowdabra.
Next, take a 5-6 inch piece of 1 1/2″ wide non-wired ribbon. Find the center and place it printed side down in the Mini Bowdabra.
Now, form a tiny loop and scrunch it in the Mini Bowdabra. Repeat this step on the opposite side for a tiny bow.
Scrunch everything down with the Bowdabra wand. Now thread the loose wire through the loop and pull tight while the bow is still in the Mini Bowdabra. Remove from the Bowdabra, separate the wire wends, and tie a knot. Tie a double knot. Cut off the excess wires. Make another bow for the second earring.
To finish, fluff and arrange your mini Bow. Add a dab of hot glue on the new bow and place the dangle earring on top of the bow. You have a beautiful upgraded set of Halloween earrings
