Supplies:
Mini ladder set from Hobby Lobby
8×8 shadowbox- (Amazon)-substitute with what you can find
Natural and green Spanish moss- Dollar Tree
styrofoam pumpkins- Dollar Tree or Hobby lobby
mini sunflowers
ribbon for bow
button
Hot glue
jute
paint
Instructions:
First, coat the 8 x 8 shadow box with some gray acrylic paint. Next, add some ModPodge in the inside of the shadow box and lay in some buffalo plaid paper. Now, add some brown and green Spanish moss. Place the brown moss down first.
Attach the mini ladder to the shadow box with some hot glue. Add some more Spanish moss on the box and ladder.
Use an X-acto or box cutter to cut some mini pumpkins in half. Arrange them on your shadow box and attach them with some more hot glue. Add some more moss and mini flowers as desired. Wrap some green floral wire around a pencil to make some tendrils. Add them with some hot glue to the pumpkins.
Make the bow
First, add some twine to the Bowdabra and tuck it out of the way while you make the bow.
Next, cut a piece of pumpkin print ribbon and place it in the Bowdabra for the tails. To keep the pumpkins facing the right direction, fold a piece of ribbon to form two loops and scrunch it in the Bowdabra. Make another slightly smaller two-loop piece and scrunch that in the Bowdabra as well.
To finish, use the twine to tie up the bow. Remove it from the Bowdabra, turn to the back, and tie a knot and double knot. Cut off any excess twine and glue the bow to the top of the box. Attach a button to the center of the bow and you have an adorable fall shelf sitter to display all through the season.
