Instructions:

First, take some pumpkin shelf sitters from the Dollar Tree, sand them, and paint them white. Next, cut the ends off of a wooden letter C to form a handle shape. Sand it and paint it white as well.

Now, using some ModPodge, attach some fall themed labels to each of the prepared pumpkins. Seal the labels with some more ModPodge on the top. Attach the wooden C to the side of one of the pumpkin shapes to resemble a mug.

Next, adhere some fabric around the other two pumpkin shapes to create mason jars. Wrap some twine all around the top and add a jute bow to the center. Use some distressing oxide to grunge up all the mason jars for a rustic look on the front and sides.

Make the bow for the mug top:

Lay in a folded piece of twine.  Then begin adding fabric strips in the Bowdabra. Make loops with a few of the fabric strips. Then use the twine as a slip knot and pull tight.  Remove from the Bowdabra, turn to the back and tie a knot. Glue on a button to the center and attach to the top of the mug.

How adorable are these?  Bet you didn’t know you could create mason jars and mug from pumpkin shelf sitters! Enjoy your fall rustic Mason jar shelf sitters and mug.  Which one do you like the best?
