Watch and learn as Sandy Sandler, the creator of the Bowdabra shows you how easy it is to make this charming Lantern swag. You will be surprised at how quickly you can add some extra zip to a plain lantern.
Fall-themed mesh
Autumnal ribbons (featuring rose and gold tones)
Evergreens
Decorative flowers
Scissors
First, cut a piece of Bowdabra bow wire. Then, fold it in half and insert it into the Bowdabra. You will have a loop on one side and two loose wires on the other side. This will serve as your slipknot. Tuck the ends under to stay out of the way while you are making your bow.
Next, twist and fold the mesh in the Bowdabra making four loops.
Now, lay in some florals, followed by green stems, placing in opposite directions. Then, lay in the large hydrangea flower.
Next, add the rose and gold ribbon tail. Continue with a long piece of the rose and gold ribbon twisting and folding to make loops.
Now, scrunch everything down with the Bowdabra wand. Then, insert the loose wires through the loop and pull tight while the bow is still in the Bowdabra. Then, remove the bow from the Bowdabra, separate the ends, turn to the back, and tie a knot. Tie a double knot for extra security. The Bowdabra wire makes it so easy!
To finish, fluff out the loops arrange the florals, and use the excess wire to tie the bow onto the lantern.
