Sandy Sandler, the creator of the Bowdabra is here to show you the easy way to make the best bow for your pup! Dress up your best friend in style with this cute little bow for their collar. Gather your supplies and let’s get started:
Ribbons (various colors and types, including corker ribbons) Scissors
First, cut a piece of Bowdabra bow wire. Then, fold it in half and insert it into the Bowdabra. You will have a loop on one side and two loose wires on the other side. This will serve as your slipknot. Tuck the ends under to stay out of the way while you are making your bow.
Next, take your ribbon, and place the right side down about one inch overhang. Then, pinch into a mountain facing up fold, and place it into the Mini Bowdabra. Bring the ribbon across and with the right side facing down, scrunch into the Mini Bowdabra with a one-inch overhang.
Now, come back to the center pinch a mountain up fold, and press into the Mini Bowdabra.
Scrunch everything down with the Bowdabra wand. Then, add the corker ribbon pieces.
Now, scrunch everything down with the Bowdabra wand. Then, insert the loose wires through the loop and pull tight while the bow is still in the Bowdabra. Then, remove the bow from the Bowdabra, separate the ends, turn to the back, and tie a knot. Tie a double knot for extra security
Fluff the bow and use the excess wire to tie it to your pup’s collar. You have the best bow for your pup and you made it in just minutes!
