14” Grapevine Wreath base

First, cut a piece of Bowdabra bow wire. Then, fold it in half and insert it into the Bowdabra. You will have a loop on one side and two loose wires on the other side. This will serve as your slipknot. Tuck the ends under to stay out of the way while you are making your bow.
Next, from the burlap ribbon, cut a length of ribbon for the tails. Find the center, pinch together, and lay in the Bowdabra.
Now, place another length of the burlap ribbon in the Bowdabra, leaving a 1/2 -1 inch overlap. Then, begin to make a loop, twist, and make a matching loop on the other side. Continue in this manner, twisting, pinching, and folding to make loops. The loops are about 4 inches but on the third loop make it a little smaller. Finally, make the smallest loop or button loop in the center.
To finish, scrunch everything down with the Bowdabra wand. Then, insert the loose wires through the loop and pull tight while the bow is still in the Bowdabra. Then, remove the bow from the Bowdabra, separate the ends, turn to the back, and tie a knot. Tie a double knot for extra security.
Attach the bow to the wreath by using the excess bow wire. Tie a knot in the back of the wreath, bring it around to the front, and tie several knots. Snip off the excess wire. Bring the tails down, fluff out, and arrange the bow. Curl the tails.
Add the greenery all around the wreath with some hot glue. Next, add the mums in the same way. See how much fun and easy it was to make this very simple but elegant wreath!
