Materials:
4 yards Spring Cabana Stripes ribbon-Apple Green 2.5”
60” Gingham Style ribbon-Lime 1.5”
60” Bees and Blossoms-Apple Green 1.5”
63” Bubble Dots ribbon-Apple Green 1.5”
Instructions:
First, prepare the Bow Wire by cutting a piece of Bowdabra bow wire, folding it in half, and laying it in the Bowdabra. Tuck the ends underneath to stay out of the way while making your bow.
Next, take the cabana stripes ribbon on which tails have already been dovetailed, and lay it in the Bowdabra. To dovetail, fold the ribbon in half and cut at an angle away from the fold.
Now, begin to make the big, loopy bow. Using the long piece of cabana stripes ribbon, lay it in the Bowdabra leaving about an inch on the side. Then, twist, bring it across, and fold to create a loop. Continue twisting and folding to make loops across. Measure to make sure the loops are about the same size and the right side is facing up.
Next, give everything a good push with the Bowdabra wand. Now, use the 1 ½” of gingham ribbon. Fold and twist in the same way you did the previous ribbon. Continue with the bubble dots ribbon in the same manner.
Finally, using the bees and blossoms ribbon place it in the Bowdabra and follow the same method of folding and twisting to make a bow. Finish with a button loop.
Now, scrunch everything down with the Bowdabra wand. Then, insert the loose wires through the loop and pull tight while the bow is still in the Bowdabra. Then, remove the bow from the Bowdabra, separate the ends, turn to the back, and tie a knot. Tie a double knot for extra security.
To finish, shape and fluff the bow by opening all the loops and arranging. In just a few minutes you have a stunning wreath bow!
