Hi, I’m Nick Kreticos from Nick’s Seasonal Decor for Bowdabra. When it comes to crafting a stunning wreath, one crucial element is incorporating a bow. Bows serve as ideal embellishments for wreaths, whether they’re designed for holidays, seasons, or everyday occasions. If you’re seeking the simplest method for creating DIY bows in a classic style, you’re in luck! I’m here with the Bowdabra today to reveal some incredible techniques for making DIY bows using specialized bow-making tools.

Grapevine Wreath
Greenery Stems/picks
Pink Flower Stem with Leaves sprays/picks
Hot Glue
First, cut a piece of Bowdabra bow wire. Then, fold it in half and insert it into the Bowdabra. You will have a loop on one side and two loose wires on the other side. This will serve as your slipknot. Tuck the ends under to stay out of the way while you are making your bow.
Next, Cut a length of ribbon for tails and lay it in the Bowdabra. Using more ribbon, begin folding and twisting to make about 4-inch loops. Continue twisting and folding making loops until you have four loops on each side.
Now, thread the loose wires through the loop and pull tight while the bow is still in the Bowdabra. Remove it from the Bowdabra, separate the ends, turn to the back and tie a knot. Separate the loops and arrange the bow.
Use the excess wire to tie the bow to the upper right hand corner of an 18″ wreath. Curl your tails.
Next, work in the greenery. Now, add the florals all around the wreath. Arrange the bow and curl the tails a little more and you have a stunning wreath to display all spring and summer long!
