Instructions:

First, cut a piece of Bowdabra bow wire.  Then, fold it in half and insert it into the Bowdabra.  You will have a loop on one side and two loose wires on the other side.  This will serve as your slipknot. Tuck the ends under to stay out of the way while you are making your bow.

Next, take the piece of red polka dot ribbon and facing right side down, pinch and mountain crease in the middle, and place it in the Mini Bowdabra. Now, fold the ribbon over pinch a mountain crease, and place it in the Bowdabra.

Repeat this step with the blue polka-dot ribbon on the opposite side. Make sure the loop and the tail are about the same. (2 ¼”)

Next, lay in the red, white, and blue corker ribbons into the Mini Bowdabra.

Now, scrunch everything down with the Bowdabra wand.  Then, insert the loose wires through the loop and pull tight while the bow is still in the Bowdabra. Then, remove the bow from the Bowdabra, separate the ends, turn to the back, and tie a knot.  Tie a double knot for extra security.

To finish, use the excess wire to tie the hair bow onto a ponytail holder or alligator clip.  Fluff and shape out all the loops.  The perfect patriotic hair bow is so quick and easy why not make several for gifts or party favors?
