Hey, everyone! It’s Lexi from the Bowdabra Design Team, and I’ve got a super fun and cool party decor idea for you all. Whether you’re a kid or an adult, this one’s gonna be a hit! We’re gonna take a regular piñata and give it a makeover to make it look way more fun and festive. Trust me, it’s gonna be awesome!
Piñata of your choice and candy to fill
6 strips of 12”-15” pieces of 1.5” wired ribbon
6 strips of 18”-24” pieces of assorted colors of 5/8” ribbon
Mini Bowdabra or Large Bowdabra
First, fold a piece of Bowdabra bow wire in half and place it in the Mini Bowdabra. Next, fold strips of ribbon in half to find the center and lay them in the Bowdabra.
Now, make a funky bow by dovetailing the end of a ribbon piece, fold it into a loop, and place it in the Bowdabra. Repeat on the opposite side with the tail and loop alternating. Continue adding pieces of ribbon in this manner till your bow is complete. Scrunch everything down with the Bowdabra wand.
Next, thread the loose wires through the loops and pull tight while the bow is still in the Bowdabra. Remove the bow, separate the ends, turn to the back, and tie a knot.
To finish your party decor, use the excess bow wire to tie the bow onto the pinata and fluff and arrange the bow.
