Hello Everyone, I’m Lisa with Crafting With Mimi, and member of the Bowdabra design team! Are you a fan of bumblebees and farmhouse decor? If so, this DIY project is perfect for you!
I recently crafted this adorable shelf sitter using a mason jar cutout from Dollar Tree and some of their cute fabric. To add a charming touch, I fashioned a bow using some beautiful Bowdabra ribbon and other supplies with my trusty mini Bowdabra. Follow along as I guide you through this fun, buzz-worthy DIY project.
Feel free to adjust or add any additional embellishments to make it your own
Supplies:
Chunky Mason jar cutout from Dollar Tree
Dollar Tree bumble bee fabric, yellow fabric
Bowdabra bees and blossoms ribbon
Buffalo check ribbon
Button
Honey dipper (purchased from Hobby Lobby)
Modpodge and hot glue
Jute
White paint
Peel and stick letters
Instructions:
Make your bow using Bowdabra or mini Bowdabra
Start by putting a piece of ribbon or wire in the center slot and tuck the ends under while making the bow.
Next, insert your bee ribbon design side up into the Bowdabra. Twist the ribbon in the middle and form your first loop. Repeat for any additional loops. Add the Buffalo check ribbon in the same fashion on top of that to form second bow.
Finally, Secure the bow together by bringing up the ribbon from the slot and tying a tight knot in the middle
Tie a knot in the back of the bow and trim the tails.
