Instructions
First, cut a piece of Bowdabra bow wire. Then, fold it in half and insert it into the Bowdabra. You will have a loop on one side and two loose wires on the other side. This will serve as your slipknot. Tuck the ends under to stay out of the way while you are making your bow.
Next, cut the tails at an angle to form a point. Lightly run a lighter along the ends to seal them from fraying. (Have a responsible adult do this step)
Now, scrunch in the 4 1/2″ wide satin ribbon into the Mini Bowdabra. Matching up the ends take the 1 1/2″ wide ribbon, and lay it in the Bowdabra. Scrunch down with the Bowdabra wand.
Next, place the satin ribbon end into the Bowabra, bring it across, and place the other end in. Then, scrunch down in the center for a two-loop bow. Then, take the wide ribbon and insert it into the Bowdabra from the top scrunchy style.
Now, scrunch everything down with the Bowdabra wand. Then, insert the loose wires through the loop and pull tight while the bow is still in the Bowdabra. Then, remove the bow from the Bowdabra, separate the ends, turn to the back, and tie a knot. Tie a double knot for extra security.
Finishing your satin hair bow
To finish, take a small piece of satin ribbon wrap it around the center of the bow, and tie it in a knot on the back. Attach the satin hat bow to your choice of hat. You have a lovely complement to your Easter or any time of year ensemble.
