3 Yards Springtime Splendor Ribbon
2.5 Yards Spring Cabana Stripes
Blooming Stem/Pick
Wide brim hat
First, wrap a length of splendor ribbon to fit around the hat, and tie it in a square knot making sure the right side of the ribbon is facing the right way. Set aside.
Next, cut a length of Bowdabra bow wire, fold it in half, and place it in the Bowdabra. Tuck the ends underneath.
Then, take some of the Cabana striped ribbon and place it in the Bowdabra hanging down for the tails.
Now, cut a longer piece of the same ribbon and twist and fold to make a loop making sure the right side it faces up. Continue working in this way, folding, and twisting to make loops. Scrunch everything down with the Bowdabra wand.
Repeat this with the Springtime splendor ribbon to make a smaller bow. Next, add the flower to the center of the bow.
Then, insert the loose wires through the loop and pull tight while the bow is still in the Bowdabra. Then, remove the bow from the Bowdabra, separate the ends, turn to the back, and tie a knot. Tie a double knot for extra security.
Shape and arrange the bow. Use the excess wire to tie the bow onto the hat band. You have a beautiful and festive Easter bonnet or hat for Mother’s Day!
