Bows are not only simple to make but they also add such a great impact. You can add them to wreaths, Lanterns, garlands, trees, gifts, and more! Today Bowdabra is sharing some super easy wreath-making tips to make bows and wreaths using bow-making tools.
Watch this tutorial as Nick from Nick’s Seasonal Décor teaches how to make easy DIY bows and wreaths like a pro!
First, cut a piece of Bowdabra bow wire. Then, fold it in half and insert it into the Bowdabra. You will have a loop on one side and two loose wires on the other side. This will serve as your slipknot. Tuck the ends under to stay out of the way while you are making your bow.
Next, cut a length of ribbon for the tails. Fold it in half to find the center, pinch it, and lay it in the Bowdabra.
Then, using the same ribbon twist and fold to make two loops on each side, ending with a smaller button loop in the center.
Now, insert the loose wires through the loop and pull tight while the bow is still in the Bowdabra. Then, remove the bow from the Bowdabra, separate the ends, turn to the back, and tie a knot. Tie a double knot for extra security. Use the excess wire to tie the bow to the grapevine wreath.
Add fern greenery all around the wreath and attach it with hot glue. Continue adding floral sprays. To finish, add in some filler flowers adhering with more hot glue.
For the final touch curl the tails under and arrange the flowers and bow. How simple it was to create this beautiful wreath with these super easy wreath-making tips from Nick of Nick’s seasonal decor and Bowdabra!!
