100-yard Bowdabra bow wire
Large Bowdabra
Black-white striped ribbon roll
Black ribbon roll
Hot glue
Grapevine wreath
Artificial greenery and white flower decorative picks
First, cut a piece of Bowdabra bow wire. Then, fold it in half and insert it into the Bowdabra. You will have a loop on one side and two loose wires on the other side. This will serve as your slipknot. Tuck the ends under to stay out of the way while you are making your bow.
Next cut two tails one from the striped ribbon and the other from the black ribbon.
Cut a piece of ribbon and create a loop with six-inch tails (approx). Then lay it in the Bowdabra. Do the same thing with the black ribbon facing the loop on the opposite side.
Continue alternating ribbons back and forth till you are happy with the amount of loops created.
Now, scrunch everything down with the Bowdabra wand. Then, insert the loose wires through the loop and pull tight while the bow is still in the Bowdabra. Then, remove the bow from the Bowdabra, separate the ends, turn to the back, and tie a knot. Tie a double knot for extra security.
Finally, cut dovetails in all the tails. To dovetail, fold the ribbon in half and cut at an angle away from the fold. Fluff out your bow and use the excess wire to attach the bow to the grapevine wreath. Add some greenery and flowers all around to finish your wreath. You have created a most elegant wreath in just minutes with the Bowdabra!
