Sandy Sandler, the creator of the Bowdabra, is here to show you how to make a super simple two-ribbon boutique bow in minutes! So let’s get started!
Materials:
(1) 30 in x 1.5 in Rose Ribbon
(1) 30 in x 2.5 in Spring Ribbon
Peel and Stick
Instructions:
First, use the peel-and-stick fabric fuse on the length of the spring gingham ribbon and remove the backing.
Next, place the rose dimensional ribbon on the peel and stick it right down the center of the gingham ribbon.
Now, cut a piece of Bowdabra bow wire. Then, fold it in half and insert it into the Bowdabra. You will have a loop on one side and two loose wires on the other side. This will serve as your slipknot. Tuck the ends under to stay out of the way while you are making your bow.
Next, find the center and place the ribbon right side down into the Bowdabra. Next, take one end of the ribbon bring it over, and scrunch that right side down into the Bowdabra. Then, bring the other end over the first loop which forms a sort of X shape, and lay that in the Bowdabra. Now, push the lower ribbon in first, then push the top one and you have a boutique bow. Scrunch everything down with the Bowdabra wand.
Now, pull the loose ends through the slipknot and pull tight while it is still in the Bowdabra. Take it out, separate the ends, bring it around to the back, and tie a knot.
You can tie this two-ribbon boutique bow onto a hair clip or ponytail holder or even use it for a gift bow!
