First, cut a piece of Bowdabra bow wire, fold it in half, and lay it in the Bowdabra. Now, find the center of 5 or more sheets of colored tissue paper and scrunch down into the Bowdabra.
Scrunch down with the Bowdabra wand, thread the loose ends through the loop, and pull tight to make your tissue pouf. Remove from the Bowdabra, turn to the back, and tie a knot. Fold the tissue pouf together and place it in the gift bag.
To make the bow, cut another length of Bow wire, fold it in half, and place it in the Bowdabra.
Next, take three strips of 1 1/2″ green burlap ribbon with the ends cut into a point. Place them in one at a time shaping as you go. These will represent the leaves. Next using three strips of red twinkling ribbon cut the same size as the green ribbon place them in the Bowdabra. These will represent the flower. Continue by adding three more strips of red ribbon cut a little shorter than the other ones.
Now, give everything a good scrunch. Thread the loose wires and pull tight, remove from the Bowdabra, turn to the back, and tie a knot. Bring the wires back to the front and thread a bead on them. Thread them back through the bead and to the back tying in a knot.
Fluff out your flower bow and use the excess wires to tie on to the handle of the gift bag. What a super easy way to make your gift-wrapping amazing! Visit the Bowdabra blog each week for new and exciting videos and tutorials and don’t forget to follow us on Facebook too!
