Christmas Ornament
18” glitter velvet ribbon
10” eyelash ribbon
Piece of pine
Berry sprig
Mini Bowdabra
Bowdabra Bow Wire
First, cut a piece of Bowdabra bow wire. Then, fold it in half and insert it into the Bowdabra. You will have a loop on one side and two loose wires on the other side. This will serve as your slipknot. Tuck the ends under to stay out of the way while you are making your bow.
Next find the center of the eyelash ribbon and lay it in the Bowdabra. Then, fold each end over and insert it into the Bowdabra to form a small bow.
Now, take a small pieces of the glitter ribbon and dovetail the end. Place in the Bowdabra. Next, using a funky bow style, take another piece of the glitter ribbon twist it so that the right side end is facing up. Lay it in the Bowdabra with a loop on one side and short tails on the other. Repeat this step on the other side with another piece of ribbon.
Scrunch everything down with the Bowdabra wand. Add a piece of pine and berries cut from a pick.
Now, scrunch everything down with the Bowdabra wand. Then, insert the loose wires through the loop and pull tight while the bow is still in the Bowdabra. Then, remove the bow from the Bowdabra, separate the ends, turn to the back and tie a knot. Tie a double knot for extra security.
To finish, use the excess wire to tie the pretty bow to an inexpensive ornament. Make several for gifts, package decorations, or hanging on the tree!
