Make some holiday magic with the best white pine swag bow
Transform your home into a winter wonderland with a gorgeous holiday white pine swag bow wreath adorned with sparkly silver accessories and a beautiful Bowdabra bow! And the best part, you won’t believe how quick and easy it is to make, especially using the Bowdabra to make a beautiful matching bow! It’s quite festive and goes with any decor! Perfect to use as a centerpiece or on a door to greet your holiday guests!
Let’s begin by folding a 30″ piece of Bowdabra wire in half and lay in the Bowdabra, You’ll have a loop at one end and two loose wires at the opposite end. Tuck ends under.
Next take the white pine swag wreath and insert it down into the Bowdabra.
Then begin adding the silver leaf picks, first one side and . . .
then the other side for . . .
a nice full look! Add different sizes of silver ornaments randomly throughout the swag.
Add the bow
Next, cut two strips of wired ribbon, 15″ long. Dovetail the ribbon ends by folding the end ribbon together and cut at the fold on an angle down to the opposite ribbon edge
Insert each dovetailed ribbon strip down into the Bowdabra in a . . .
crisscross pattern across the swag wreath.
Crease the end of the matching ribbon on the roll, and place in the Bowdabra. Since the design is on one side of this ribbon, fold a 5″ loop, creasing, and twisting the center of ribbon down into the Bowdabra.
Take the ribbon on the opposite side and fold another 5″ loop, creasing and twisting the center down into the Bowdabra. Continue making two more loops on either side. Folding and creasing the center and twisting the ribbon down into the Bowdabra. Cutting off excess ribbon.
Next, crease the end of a complementary wired ribbon and place down into the Bowdabra creating a loop on one side. This ribbon has the same design on both sides so continue making three more loops creasing the centers and placing down into the Bowdabra . . .
cutting off excess ribbon when finished making loops.
Scrunch down all the bow loops with the Bowdabra Wand.
While the bow is still in the Bowdabra, thread the loose ends of the bow wire through the loop and . . .
pull tight while gently pulling the bow and swag out. Then take the wire around to the back of the swag and tie in a double or triple knot to secure, cutting off excess wire.
Now, stand back and admire your beautiful holiday white pine swag bow wreath!
