– Caramel acrylic paint
– Antique wax
– Wood circle – about 2.5”
– Jute string
– Bells
Materials for the Bow:

– Solid red, red/tan stripe, and velvet ribbon for the collar
– Faux tree branches for antlers
– Branches with berries for embellishment
– Grapevine for antler embellishment

Let the creativity begin!
First, paint a coat of chalk paint on the front and back of the fan blade. Next, dry brush some lighter paint on the front side of the fan blade. Let dry completely.
Now, brush on some antique wax on the front of the blade. Then, use a wipe to wipe off some of the wax.
Make the nose for the reindeer by painting a wood round with red chalk paint, then wiping some antique wax and wiping the excess off. Sand around the edges for a distressed look.
Use some green pine garland pieces o make the antlers.
Make the bow
To make the bow prepare strips of fabic by wiping the antique wax down the lengths to distress them somewhat. Cut a piece of Bowdabra bow wire and place it in the bowdabra. Now, begin laying in your fabric strips. Remove the bow from the Bowdabra and tie a knot on the back and double knot.
To finish, use a staple gun to attach the pine pieces for the antlers. Attach the bow with some glue and staples. Add some extra greenery and picks for an extra embellishment. Glue on the nose. Then paint two small circles for eyes, paint a line for the mouth. Add white dots to the eyes. For a finishing touch add some red ribbon to the bottom of the blade and attach some jingle bells on jute string. You have the best holiday decor and it cost practically nothing!
