The young artist will have a great time creating and displaying this Halloween mobile.
Gather these supplies:
- Black, orange, and white cardstock
- Fishing line
- Scissors
- Patterns for the Halloween shapes—ghosts; BOO; Happy Halloween; haunted house and bat; jack-o-lanterns; and spider, hat, and cat
Let’s make the Halloween Mobile:
- Print and cut out patterns. Trace onto appropriate colored cardstock.
- Use a large flat surface (table top, floor, etc.) to arrange the Halloween shapes the way you want them. This is my arrangement, but experiment to find one that pleases you.
- Use lengths of fishing line to tie the shapes together. Note: As an alternative you can use string, twine, thread, or yarn to tie the shapes together. I prefer the transparency of fishing line.
- Unless your cardstock is super stiff, you may need to support the Happy Halloween element on the back side with a thin skewer.
- Display your mobile and have a Happy Halloween!!
