Skeleton ribbon (2.5” x 12”)
Rhinestone Mesh (7”)
Large Bowdabra bow maker
First, cut a piece of Bowdabra bow wire. Then, fold it in half and insert it into the Bowdabra. You will have a loop on one side and two loose wires on the other side. This will serve as your slipknot. Tuck the ends under to stay out of the way while you are making your bow. Bow wire is strong, easy to work with and very gentle on your hands!
Next, place the white tulle in the Mini Bowdabra and fold back and forth with less tulle on one side which will be the head of your mini ghost. Now take the wire and pull it through the loop tightly while the ghost is still in the Bowdabra. Remove it, separate the ends, and turn to the back and tie a knot. Then, take a piece of black chenille stem and wrap it around the mini ghost. Adjust and form the ghost’s head. Attach two googly eyes on the head with some zots and set aside.
Using the regular sized Bowdabra, cut a piece of bow wire, fold it and lay it in the Bowdabra as you did with the Mini Bowdabra. Now, scrunch in the black, orange, and purple mesh, putting them in at an angle. Next, take the small piece of skeleton ribbon and dovetail the ends, then place it in the Bowdabra. To dovetail, fold the ribbon in half and cut at an angle away from the fold.
Lay in two small pieces of the rhinestone mesh. Then, take the longer piece of skeleton ribbon and place the right side facing down in the Bowdabra, bring it across and place the right side down. Scrunch down in the center for a bow.
Scrunch everything down with the Bowdabra wand. Put the loose wires through the loop and pull tight while it is still in the Bowdabra. Remove it and separate the ends, turn to the back, and tie a knot and double knot. Use the excess wire to tie the swag onto the wreath.
Use a piece of orange chenille stem to wrap around the mini ghost and attach it to the wreath. You have such a fun mini Halloween ghost wreath to display anywhere in your home.
