Supplies:
- Hanging Board
- Mini Crate
- Mini box/drawer with flower cut-out
- >Battery powered tea light
- Small piece of floral foam
- Small amount of Spanish moss
- Hot glue
- Small succulent in a pot to fit into mini crate
- 5 loose succulents
- 20 inches of 5 inch wide wired gold ribbon
- 8 inches of 1.5 inch wide wired gold ribbon
- Mini Bowdabra
- Bowdabra Bow Wire
Instructions:
First, cut a piece of Bowdabra bow wire. Then, fold it in half and insert it into the Bowdabra. You will have a loop on one side and two loose wires on the other side. This will serve as your slipknot. Tuck the ends under to stay out of the way while you are making your bow.
Next, add two little succulents into the Bowdabra. Then, take the 5” wide ribbon and feed it in the Bowdabra from the top down to make a ruffle or scrunchy bow. Repeat this step with the second ribbon.
Now scrunch everything down with the Bowdabra wand. Then, insert the loose wires through the loop and pull tight while the bow is still in the Bowdabra. Then, remove the bow from the Bowdabra, separate the ends, turn to the back and tie a knot. Tie a double knot for extra security.
Prepare your wall décor
Use a small amount of brown paint to rub on your wooden pieces to mimic a stain. Then, add a bit of hot glue to the backing board and attach your Bowdabra bow at the top. Repeat this faux staining with all the other wooden elements.
Now, use the hot glue to add all the extra wooden elements to the board. Add the floral foam and moss to incorporate the other succulents in the wooden boxes you have glue to the board.
You have adorable wall hanging décor that you can add to any room!
