Materials:

Wreath base

Four-inch wide burlap

2 ½” wide burlap

2 ½” wide sheer ribbon

Emilia ribbon

Floral pick

Bowdabra bow maker

Bowdabra bow wire

Instructions:

First, wrap the wreath form with the 4-inch-wide burlap ribbon.

Next, cut a piece of Bowdabra bow wire, fold it in half and lay it in the Bowdabra.  Tuck the ends under to stay out of the way while you make your bow. This is your slip knot.

Next, take the burlap which you have already dovetailed the ends and lay it in the Bowdabra. To dovetail, fold the ribbon in half and cut at an angle away from the fold. Add the sheer dovetailed ribbon as well.

Now, working with the burlap ribbon and sheer ribbon together place them in the Bowdabra and begin to twist and fold to make loops.

Next, lay a piece of Emilia ribbon for tails in the Bowdabra. Using the longer piece of Emilia ribbon place, it in the Bowdabra and fold and twist to make loops as you did before.

Scrunch everything down with the Bowdabra wand. insert the loose wires through the loop and pull tight while the bow is still in the Bowdabra. Then, remove the bow from the Bowdabra, separate the ends, turn to the back, and tie a knot.  Tie a double knot for extra security.

Shape out and arrange the bow and use the excess wire to tie the bow on the burlap wreath.
