10” length of 2.5” non-wired velvet ribbon
16” length of 2.5” non-wired velvet ribbon
10” length of 2.5” wired sheer polka dot ribbon
Elastic ponytail holder
First, cut a piece of Bowdabra bow wire. Then, fold it in half and insert it into the Mini Bowdabra. You will have a loop on one side and two loose wires on the other side. This will serve as your slipknot. Tuck the ends under to stay out of the way while you are making your bow.
Next, take a 10-inch piece of ribbon and dovetail the ends. Find the center, pinch it together and lay it in the Mini Bowdabra right side facing up.
Now, take a 16-inch piece of ribbon. find and scrunch the center and lay it in the Mini Bowdabra right side facing down. Then bring each end back over and scrunch into the Bowdabra.
Scrunch everything down with the Bowdabra wand.
Next, using a 10-inch piece of wired ribbon, place it in the Mini Bowdabra from the top and scrunch down accordion style. Give everything a good scrunch with the wand.
To finish, thread the loose wires through the loop and pull tight while the bow is still in the Bowdabra. Remove from the Bowdabra, turn to the back, separate the ends and tie a knot. Double and triple knot it. Now, use the excess wire to tie your hair bow to a hair elastic or headband.
You have a gorgeous Barbie inspired hair bow! This hair bow make a great gift for any Barbie fan!
