Sandy Sandler, the creator of the Bowdabra bow maker shows you the easy way to use up those leftover ribbon scraps. Make this amazing ribbon scrap wreath bow in just minutes and liven up that wreath!
First, cut a piece of Bowdabra bow wire. Then, fold it in half and insert it into the Bowdabra. You will have a loop on one side and two loose wires on the other side. This will serve as your slipknot. Tuck the ends under to stay out of the way while you are making your bow.
Next, using a piece of spring floral scrap ribbon which you have already dovetailed the ends and fold it in half and lay it in the Bowdabra. Make a loop on one side and the tails on the other.
Repeat this step with another piece of scrap plaid ribbon laying it in the opposite direction. Continue do the same thing with another piece of floral ribbon, followed by burlap ribbon. Keep repeating this step with all your ribbon scraps.
Finally use a piece of emilia ribbon scrap and scrunch it in from the top. You have a beautiful ribbon scrap wreath bow and it only took a few minutes to make!
