Welcome to my Kids Craft tutorial! I’m Lexi, a member of the Bowdabra design team, and today I’m excited to show you how to make an adorable mini flower ponytail holder with the mini Bowdabra. This project is not only a perfect beginners bow for a kid, it’s cute and stylish, but also very affordable and easy to make. Once you see how simple it is, you’ll want to make all kinds of color combinations to match any outfit or occasion. So, let’s get started!
4 – Mini (Terrycloth) Ponytail holders
1 – Elastic Ponytail holder
1 – Small bead
First, cut a length of Bowdabra bow wire, fold it in half and lay it in the Mini Bowdabra.
Next, take four terry cloth ponytail holders. Stretch them out and place them in the Mini Bowdabra. Scrunch down with the Bowdabra wand. Now, thread the loose ends through the looped end and pull tight while your ponytail holder is still in the Bowdabra.
Separate the loose ends from the flower bow and bring around to the back and tie them in a knot.
Next, bring the loose wires to the front of the flower bow and thread a bead on to the center. Finish by bringing the ends to the back and tie in a double knot. Tie the flower bow to a hair elastic with a double knot. fluff out the bow and clip the wires.
You have an adorable little flower ponytail holder! Be sure and vary the terry cloth hair elastics for all sorts of flower colors to match all your outfits!
