Instructions:
First, cut a length of Bowdabra bow wire, fold it in half, and lay it in the Bowdabra. This will be your slip knot.
Next lay in the flower pick. Then lay in sheer purple ribbon and gingham ribbon for the tails. Now, take a longer piece of the sheer purple ribbon and place it in the Bowdabra with a twist so that the right side of the ribbon is always facing out. Continue making loops and twisting to the end of the ribbon.
Now, take the matching gingham ribbon, lay it in the Bowdabra, and fold it over to make two loops. Then, lay in a purple flower.
Next, take the Bowdabra wire and pull it through the slipknot while still in the Bowdabra. Pull it tight and remove, separate the ends, turn to the back, and tie a knot. Shape and arrange your bow.
To create the topiary, cover a pool noodle with wood grain contact paper and place it in the flowerpot which you have already filled and glued in pieces of pool noodles in lieu of floral foam.
Next, place two large flowers around the flowerpot and then add the bow using the pick to secure it on the topiary. Set aside while you make the top of the topiary.
Make the topiary top
Cut a piece of Bowdabra bow wire, fold it in half, and lay it in the Bowdabra.
Then, take your florals and lay them into the Bowdabra, back and forth alternating sides.
After you have added the florals, take the bow wire and thread it through the loop and pull tight. Remove from the Bowdabra, separate the ends and turn to the back and tie a knot and double knot.
Now, use the pick ends to place them through the pool noodle at the top. If you want this to be permanent, then use some hot glue to attach it. Fluff all your loops and flowers. You have a beautiful spring topiary to add to your spring décor!
