Hello, I’m Joette, and I’m excited to share another tip from the florist with you. In this blog post, I will guide you through the process of creating a stunning floral cemetery headstone arrangement using a Bowdabra.
The best part? You won’t need a saddle, hot glue, or floral foam for this cemetery headstone arrangement. With just a few simple steps and affordable materials, you can create a beautiful and long-lasting tribute for your loved ones. Follow along as I share my tips and tricks for designing an arrangement from the bottom up, attaching it to the headstone, and more. Let’s get started!
2 – Foliage Stems
2 – Dollar Store foliage Bushes
Eight assorted colors and sizes of Dollar Store Floral Bushes
Large Bowdabra
Bowdabra Bow Wire
Optional: Dollar Store Solar Light
Saddle Substitute:
2- Waterproof Towel Hooks
First, cut a length of Bowdabra bow wire fold it in half, and lay it in the Bowdabra.
Next, begin by bending the foliage bushes in half so that they will be on each side of the Bowdabra. Then add the flowers in the same method. Add the florals by bending them in half and placing flowers on both sides of the Bowdabra. This way you get the most out of your floral pieces.
Next, add the larger focal flowers making sure they are closer to the center.
Scrunch everything down with the Bowdabra wand. Thread the loose wires through the loop for the slipknot while your florals are still in the Bowdabra. Separate the ends, remove them from the Bowdabra, and turn to the back. Tie it in a tight triple knot.
To finish, fluff and shape out your arrangement. Use towel hooks to attach the cemetery headstone arrangement to your headstone.
Optional: Zip-tie a dollar-store solar light into the top of the headstone.
