Make a fun and fancy Cinco De Mayo headband
Materials:
- Mini Bowdabra
- Bowdabra bow wire
- 6 berry picks from a dollar tree package of 36 berry picks
- 6 dollar tree 2.5” wide by 20” long quilting strips assorted colors
- colorful headband
Instructions:
First, cut a piece of Bowdabra bow wire. Fold it in half and lay it in the Bowdabra. You will have a loop on one side and two loose wires on the other side. This will serve as your slipknot.
Next, take a piece of quilting strips and fold the end under. Then, begin scrunching it in from the top moving from side to side as you scrunch. This method will turn the scrunchy bow into a mini flower.
Now, take the berry and lay that in the Bowdabra. This is the center of the flower.
To finish, insert the loose wires through the loop for the slipknot and pull it tight while the bow is still in the Bowdabra. Remove it and turn to the back and tie a knot and a double knot.
Fluff and pull the berry to the center and arrange your flower.
Now, use the excess wire to tie the flower to the headband. Clip the ends. You have the most beautiful Cinco De Mayo headband that you completed in just minutes
