Materials:
- Bowdabra
- Bowdabra bow wire
- One – dollar tree Shamrock wreath form
- Two St. Patrick’s day scarfs
- 7417.60/50–607 Gleam wired ribbon 2.5 inch emerald
- 1252 to 60/10–027 – burlap wired ribbon hot lime
- 125,240/10.027–1.5 inch burlap wired ribbon – hot lime.
- 1.5 inch shimmering shamrock ribbon white/green number 7030.40/10–601
- Lily
- 3 yards 21″ wide mesh
- Floral daisy pick
Instructions:
First, wrap the shamrock wreath form with the gleam ribbon all around and secure with glue or a zot.
Now, cut a piece of Bowdabra bow wire. Then, fold it in half and insert it into the Bowdabra. You will have a loop on one side and two loose wires on the other side. This will serve as your slipknot. Tuck the ends under to stay out of the way while you are making your bow.
Next, knot the scarf at both ends and then fold in half to find the center and lay that in the Bowdabra for the tails. Follow this by laying the green burlap and shamrock ribbon into the Bowdabra
Add the mesh
Now, take about 3 yards of 21-inch-wide mesh and scrunch that down into the Bowdabra from the top.
Then, take the lime green burlap and fold and twist to make loops for a bow. Repeat this step with the shamrock print ribbon.
Lay a second scarf in the Bowdabra. Then, add the florals and lily.
Now scrunch everything down with the Bowdabra wand. Then, insert the loose wires through the loop and pull tight while the bow is still in the Bowdabra. Then, remove the bow from the Bowdabra, separate the ends, turn to the back and tie a knot. Tie a double knot for extra security.
Finishing your wreath
Fluff out your bow and arrange the tails. Wrap the wired ribbon tails around your wrist to curl them. Attach the bow to your wreath form and you have a super, super, easy St. Patrick’s day wreath!
