How to create an amazing bouquet arrangement
Materials:
Clear Vase (With lip for bow, optional)
1-2 Cups of clear marbles or river rocks
9oz bottle of clear Elmer’s Craft Glue
Bush of mixed Flowers (Hobby Lobby)
Optional-1 yd of matching 2.5-inch Wired Ribbon with an 8-9 inch pre-dove tailed tails
Instructions:
First, place the clear marbles in the clear vase. To resemble a resin look, squeeze the entire bottle of clear Elmer’s glue into the vase with the marbles. Set it aside.
Now, cut a piece of Bowdabra bow wire. Then, fold it in half and insert it into the Bowdabra. You will have a loop on one side and two loose wires on the other side. This will serve as your slipknot. Tuck the ends under to stay out of the way while you are making your bow.
Next, take your floral bush and push all the greenery up to the top so that you will not have to add any extra greenery.
Now, lay the bush in the Bowdabra. Then, insert the loose wires through the loop and pull tight while the bow is still in the Bowdabra. Then, remove the bow from the Bowdabra, separate the ends, turn to the back, and tie a knot. Tie a double knot for extra security.
Clip the excess wire. Then clip the stem short. Place the bouquet down into the vase with the glue. (Depending upon climate, it will take up to a week to completely dry)
Make the bow
Finally, cut another piece of Bow wire and fold it in half as you did before and place in the Bowdabra. Cut a small piece of ribbon and dovetail the ends and place in the Bowdabra for the tails.
Place a long piece of ribbon in the Bowdabra. Twist and fold to form loops for a bow. Finish with a smaller loop. (Button loop)
Insert the loose wires through the loop and tie them with the slipknot. Use the excess wire to tie the bow to the vase. You have a beautiful bouquet arrangement that looks like it is set in resin.
