Love is in the air and Sandy Sandler, the creator of the Bowdabra shows you an easy way to create an inexpensive Valentine’s Day gift in minutes.
Materials:
Treat bag
Heart candies
Instructions:
First, cut a piece of Bowdabra bow wire. Then, fold it in half and insert it into the Mini Bowdabra. You will have a loop on one side and two loose wires on the other side. This will serve as your slipknot. Tuck the ends under to stay out of the way while you are making your bow.
Next, take the Bowdabra scrunchy ribbon and feed into the Bowdabra from the top to make a scrunchy bow.
Now, take the loose wires the put them through the loop and pull tight. Take the bow out of the Bowdabra, separate the ends, turn to the back and tie a knot. Now, insert the scrunchy bow in the bag as a filler. Then, add the candies and set aside.
Make the Second Bow
Cut some more Bowdabra bow wire and load it into the Mini Bowdabra as you did before.
Begin laying in the small scraps of red ribbons on which the ends have been dovetailed.
Finally, take the longest piece of red ribbon, twist, bring over to make a loop, twist so the right side of the ribbon is facing up and make a matching loop. Make a small loop with the ribbing that is left for a button loop.
Scrunch everything down with the Bowdabra wand. Pull the loose wires through the slip knot and pull tight while the bow is still in the Bowdabra. Take it out and turn to the back and tie a knot. Shape and arrange the bow.
To finish, use the excess wine to tie the bow to the candy bag and you have a beautiful little inexpensive Valentine’s Day gift anyone will love!
